Drama Club

CREATIVE KIDS is an innovative and dynamic literature based drama program. Each week, a professional actor/teacher will lead the class in exploring and dramatizing specially selected children’s stories. The students then create and act out their own original stories based on these books. These stories come from all over the world and are carefully chosen for each age group. CREATIVE KIDS introduces students to acting, increases their love of books, encourages literacy and builds vocabulary. It also promotes communication and teamwork, and boosts self-esteem--and it's loads of fun! A perfect mix for a great after-school program!

Creative Kids will be held on Thursdays, October 15th - December 17th, 2009 (no class 11/12 and 11/26), from 3:35-4:20pm for grades 2-5. It will cost about $110 for the 8 week program per student.

If you are interested in enrolling your child, please fill out the attached form and return this to the PTA mailbox (or your child’s teacher), "Attention: Kim Braun", with a check made payable to "LES PTA" by Friday, October 9th.

Please contact Kim Braun at kimburton@aol.com with any questions.
