Group Piano Lessons

Attention Parents of 2nd – 5th Graders:

Group piano lessons will again be offered this year, September 26, 2007 – May 22, 2008 (approximately) with a recital on May 29, 2008 for students at Laytonsville Elementary School.

Small group (up to 6 students per class) piano instruction will be provided by Mr. Jacob Opper, who is trained, certified, and supervised by Montgomery County Class Piano, Inc.  During group instruction, the children take turns and learn from each other.  They MUST be able to sit still, follow directions, and work independently.  The fee includes one-two music books and a recital.  Parents are responsible for their child’s supervision and safety before and after class and are expected to drop-off and pick-up on time at the classroom.

Practice at home is to be done on a piano or keyboard (preferably with four octaves and piano-size keys).  Please be sure your child wants to participate and will behave in this class as we cannot offer refunds if they decide to quit.

Classes are offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3:30–4:30, 4:30–5:30 and 5:30–6:30.  Tuition is approximately $275 for the year and is subject to adjustment based on cost and number of students participating.  The FULL tuition is due at the first class lesson.

Register your interest on the attached form (55 KB PDF) and send it to:
