Picture Day with Blanton Studios

On Wednesday, November 4th, Blanton Studio photographers will be taking student portraits.  There are many portrait package options so be sure to fill out your order forms and send them in with your student.  

Career Day at Luxmanor

Career Day is Friday, November 6th.  This is a wonderful opportunity for our kids to see how education is connected to a successful future.   They can discover the variety of jobs available, connect what they are learning in school to real-world situations, and begin viewing themselves in an occupation.  

We have had many wonderful speakers in the past and are still lining up our speakers for this year.  If you are interested in speaking on Career Day please contact Mrs. Silverberg.  

Homework Hotline

Homework Hotline Live! is back on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00pm. This program provides K-12 students one-on-one homework help when they call the hotline number at 301-279-3234

Parent Academy Workshops

Parents can learn about school system programs, internet safety, homework and parenting strategies, how to monitor their child's grades with Edline and much more.  Register now for free Parent Academy Workshops. 

Learn About the Seven Keys to College Readiness

The pathway to college begins in kindergarten.  MCPS has identified Seven Keys that will open the door to college.  These Seven Keys will help students be ready for college success. Learn more about the Keys, view videos, get tips, and find resources at the Seven Keys website.
