November Happenings Family Literacy Day—Do you like to read at home? Maybe you like to read with your parents, grandparents, brothers, or sisters. November 1st is Family Literacy Day. Click here for ideas to celebrate reading with your family. Book Exchange Kindergarten and first grade students may check out one book or magazine for one week at a time. Second and third grade students may check out two books or one book and one magazine for two weeks at a time. Fourth and fifth grade may check out three books or two books and one magazine for two weeks at a time. Exceptions: You may not check out additional materials if you have an overdue book or magazine. November Author Birthdays Check out these online databases. They will be very helpful when gathering information for research projects! These databases do require passwords. You may get the logins and passwords from Ms. Kleponis.
