Dear Parents/Guardians:As the marking period comes to a close, it is a good time to assess your child’s progress in reading and math to see if they would benefit from enrolling in the George B. Thomas Learning Academy (GBTLA). The center closest to Mill Creek Towne is located at Magruder High School. The program is held on Saturday mornings from 8:15am – 11:15am and the registration fee is only $30.00 per child for the remainder of the year.

Congratulations to Angel Mason for winning the NAACP Montgomery County Chapter's Teacher of the Year award. She is very deserving of this award, not only for her commitment to her students and Mill Creek Towne, but also for her involvement in community activities such as The Walk for the Homeless and the Giving Tree Program. Miss Mason is truly an inspiration to all of us here at MCT.
