DON'T FORGET - Every time you volunteer at the school,
enter your volunteer hours in the notebook at the front desk.
This includes PTA meetings, helping a teacher, back to school night,
parent/teacher conferences, working on projects at home, ANY time
you devote to the school should be entered in the book. The
school receives benefits for the volunteer hours! |

| Volunteer Training
Sessions |

 Sessions will teach you how to use the copier (we have a
brand new copier) lamination machine, how to make die cuts, proper
way to log volunteer hours -- all of this to help our children,
teachers and PTA.

| Volunteer to be a Room
Parent |
 |
First Room Parents communicate with the teacher to coordinate volunteers when necessary, depending on the teacher's needs
It is also helpful if one of the Room Parents attends the monthly PTA meetings as the class representative
They organize the class Halloween and Valentine's parties, or delegate another parent to do so
They organize the teacher appreciation gift, if the class wants to do so as a whole
