Black-Eyed Susan Book Program

All students are encouraged to participate in the Black-Eyed Susan (BES) Book Program as an independent reading project. Students are expected to read at least 3 of the books from one of our BES lists by Spring. The books from the grades 4-6 and grades 6-9 lists are available in the MLK media center. Students will keep track of what they have read and rate each book on a chart that they will keep in their binder. Students that have fulfilled the above requirements are invited to vote for their favorite book and to celebrate their achievements in the Spring.
