I am excitedly planning a Students Against Starting Smoking (SASS) /Health Club here at MV this year. We will start meeing after school on Wednesdays in October. I am doing this club with the 8th grade counselor Rosemarie Dapena. Our first project will be Red Ribbon Week Oct  23rd thru 31st. That is a week full of fun activities for the whole school as we share the message of the dangers of drugs and alcohol. Our MV SASS/Health Club will plan and participate in Red Ribbon Week during school that week.

Please encourage you son/daughter to see me in the Healthroom for more info on the club and for parent permission form.
