After School Activities

Students at Neelsville Middle School have many exciting choices for after-school activities.  Check out the complete listing in the 08-89 Activities Handbook.  Students must be academically eligible by maintaining a 2.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) or above.  Complete and return the Student Fees Form to the main office, and get started! Check out the 4:10PM Activity Bus Schedule.

Students earn SSL hours as recycling volunteers for the Green Team

The Nizzleville News - The Nizzleville News is published by Mr. Summers' Period 1 and Period 6 classes.

Carver Society - An African American History Club which performs community service, learns about current and past history and enjoys fellowship.

The Green Team - Students manage the paper, cardboard and cans recycling program for our classrooms, and monitor electrical usage in the building.

Tech Crew - Students set up and run the lights and sound for our various musical and dramatic performances.

Drama Club - Students put on a drama or musical performance each spring, under the direction of Drama teacher Mr. Davis.

Good Knights - These students perform volunteer service to the school and community, and are recommended for excellent character and scholarship.

National Junior Honor Society - A national group which requires nomination based on scholarship, service, and character.  Limited to 7th and 8th grade students.

Student Government Association - Students who represent their grade level and Knight Time, and work to better NMS, also sponsoring events such as school dances.

Alpha Delta Psi - Students who represent leadership, responsibility and integrity, and promote positive activities within the NMS community.

Yearbook Club - Students who meet regularly to produce our school yearbook.
