Good Knights
(5/8/09) I am pleased to announce the new 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Good Knights. As you know the Good Knights is a group designed to recognize and reward students who demonstrate great initiative, effort, achievement, improvement, citizenship, and respect. Students are recommended by teachers and elected by their peers to be Good Knights. Please congratulate the following students when you see them.

The Good Knights is a group that was designed to recognize and reward students who demonstrate great initiative, effort, sportsmanship, achievement, improvement, attendance, citizenship, and respect in school and community activities. Starting after the 2nd marking period, students are recommended by teachers and elected by their peers to serve as role models and positive representatives of Neelsville.
The Good Knight members participate in a number of activities designed to recognize achievement and help the community. In previous years we have raised money to provide relief to hurricane victims and to fight Juvenile Diabetes, we have helped raise awareness of the genocide taking place in Darfur, Sudan, and we have made holiday door decorations for patients at Children’s Hospital. Already this year we co-sponsored the Hispanic Heritage Month trivia contest, and volunteered for Reading Night and Neelsville Day.
