Clay Fish Face Sculptures 7th grade students formed basic pinch pots, placed them on their sides and added fins, tails, eyes, texture and other details. Students formed the opening of the pot into amusing “fish lips” which give these fish their character. After the first “bisque” firing, the students painted glaze on their fish, which were then fired for the second and final glaze firing.
