The Fund for the Public Interest, Environmental Maryland Campaign Office has announced summer internships! Each year, millions of pounds of trash enter our streams, rivers, lakes and oceans. In many cases, it's consumed by fish and birds and ends up in the food chain. This summer, the Fund for the Public Interest is hiring students to join their staff to help mobilize public support for a statewide ban. Paid, full time positions are available for students over 18. Opportunities are also available for student interns to get hands-on experience in a grassroots campaign office! Interns will help plan campaign events, work on media outreach and help the Fund for the Public Interest meet their goals. Interested students can apply using this link. Questions should be directed to Kelsey Lamp, Recruitment Director. | web post 9 May 18 |
