Learning about the Chesapeake Bay:
An All-Electronic Research Project!

Working with the Media Specialist, Ms. Strosnider, a group of eighteen Oakland Terrace 4th graders utilized a variety of electronic information sources to learn about the Chesapeake Bay and its problems.  The students used NoodleTools, aWeb-based application, which allowed them to create electronic note cards to organize their research and generate a bibliography.  Finally, the students created PowerPoint presentations and posters or dioramas to showcase all that they have learned about the Bay.

The Chesapeake Bay Research Project also ties in with Oakland Terrace's quest to become a Maryland Green School.
