This tournament is a outgrowth of the Chess Club at Oak View. Many students come after school each week to play, practice, and learn about Chess. * Fernando Moreno, the ESOL Counselor and Mrs. Curran, the Media Specialist run the Chess Club and teach students about the game and how it can help them be better students and make better choices in life. It has become wildly popular and it is a treat to watch the chess players in action!
