staff and community members shone in the
first annual Poetry Slam. Each participant
enjoyed an evening filled with the sounds of
sonnets, limericks and odes. The audience
sat at candle-lit tables, enjoyed healthful
snacks and snapped their appreciation as
each participant recited his or her favorite poems.
