Kindergarten
Kindergarteners choose one book a week after the first of the year when they
feel comfortable with the staff , procedures, and methods to care for
library materials.
1st through 5th Grade
Students in these grades choose 2 library materials. Classes are scheduled
for a short weekly exchange.
Due to the high cost of references materials, these
materials are checked out at the end of the school day and returned to the
Media Center the first thing the following morning (overnight checkout
only).
Overdues...
All students are
permitted to keep library materials for 2 weeks before an overdue notice
is generated and disseminated in homerooms through the homeroom teacher.
Should the material not be returned or is permanently damaged, the
replacement cost on the overdue notice is requested for replacement. No
fines are collected.
