The Maryland State PTA requires that PTSA's submit their Bylaws for review every three years. Our Bylaws were submitted last spring and returned with minor changes requested. Those changes were made and the amended Bylaws were presented at the November 10, 2009 PSTA meeting. They can also be found for review by clicking here. Voting on the amended Bylaws will occur during the January 12, 2010 meeting.

PyleNet is the Pyle parents' email subscription list of school and community news. To join, send an email to joinpylenet@gmail.com. Please give your name, email address you want subscribed, and the full name(s) of your student(s). Alternatively, you can send an email to pylenet-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and provide the above information, either when you go through the subscription process or after you subscribe (you will receive an email requesting the information).

To post to PyleNet, send a message to pylenet@yahoogroups.com. Make sure you have provided a descriptive subject and be sure to sign the email.

If you have a post that you would like to include in the Weekly Community Announcements, please email it to pylecommunity@gmail.com. Messages for the Announcements cannot exceed 200 words.

Please indicate in the subject or at the top of the body of the email that the message is intended for the Weekly Announcements.

Parents, you can check your directory information online on this site now.

Click on the PARENTS button at the top (NOT THE NAME OF THE SCHOOL!) and then the Review Data Link. If you don’t already have a password, you can use the "I forgot my login info" button. Enter your email address (one that you think should be in the database), and the system will send you the login info via email. Almost all of the email addresses that are on PyleNet should be in the database, but it is possible that a PyleNet address has not yet made it into the database. If you think you should have an email address in the database, but it can’t find your entry, please contact Ann Gallagher (agm@saltywaters.org) with the email address you would like to use.

Host Family - Want to be a host family?  Provide advice that isn't written down anywhere to another family.  Help newcomers make friends and learn their way around Pyle.
