  • Congrats to senior Conor Spaulding for being named the MoCoRunning.com athlete of the week last week!  http://www.mocorunning.com/index.php  Quote: The male athlete of the week is Conor Spaulding of Quince Orchard High School. Spaulding overcame muddy conditions on a challenging course to win the 3A West Region by a narrow three seconds over one of the 3A state favorites Braden Bruning of Linganore. Spaulding pushed the pace hard from the beginning and created a gap on the chase pack. In the end he had to fight off a hard-charging Bruning to score his first major title.
  • 21 QO athletes have been named athlete of the week since 2005.
