Best Buddies

Best Buddies is a club that provides an opportunity for one-to-one friendships between students with disabilities and their nondisabled peers. We began a Best Buddies chapter at Rockville High School two years ago and it has been a great success! We meet weekly for a group lunch in one of our classrooms and we do one outside event per month. Our first event this year will be a Rockville High School football game.

  • Dec. 2nd -- fundraiser at Urban burger...save the date!
  • Dec. 9th -- Mandatory Peer Buddies Training, during lunch in Room 1020.
  • Remember if your Buddy is out of the building on Wednesdays for a job site, you will have lunch with them on Tuesdays in Room 2081.
  • Holiday Party in December...more information to follow.
