As the year comes to a close let me share with you some information regarding the plans for the upcoming year. On the final day of school students will have an opportunity to visit with their teachers for the next year. Because there will be so many room changes with the opening of the new addition, students will not actually be able to visit their new rooms. We will attempt to get those room numbers to you this summer. We will give out Summer Packets on the last day which students can complete and return to their teachers when we return. We will also give out supply list for next year.

The playground equipment, although already ordered, will be one of the last steps in the construction project. The Portable Classrooms will have to be removed and the ground prepared for our new playground. It may not be done by opening but should be completed shortly afterward if everything goes as scheduled.

We are all anxious to move in, but of course that will not happen until all is finished in the new addition. At the present time we have no firm date for that move. Meanwhile, Facilities Management has supplied us with boxes and help so that we have already done much of the packing.

I wish you all a wonderful summer. Childhood is fleeting so make the most of the summer days! I look forward to seeing you at the end of year programs and in the school year ahead.
