The Reading Initiative Program is in effect for Stonegate.

The students are placed in groups and meet several times a week.

We will incorporate many MCPS endorsed programs.

The students will be in groups for reading and will be actively engaged

in these programs five days a week.  Every child should be prepared for

an exciting and challenging year in reading.

Cool Fact of the Day--a new science fact is explained everyday

Public Library's World of Readers--book reviews for kids by kids
