Erin bid on and won Media Specialist for a Day from the Silent Auction at the Spring Fair. She had her day on Thursday, May 31st. Erin began by leading a third grade class through a mystery activity in a PowerPoint slide show. She read the book Bad Kitty to the Headstart class, and helped second graders work on their Helen Keller research projects. For another lesson, Erin showed a mathematics instructional video and read from Mathterpieces, a book by Greg Tang.
Erin enjoyed checking in the books, checking out the books, and shelving the books. Erin also had the opportunity to read and review a book, so that it could be added to the Media Center collection. She was a great media specialist, and she said she enjoyed her day very much.
