About Stonegate

Stonegate's mission as a caring community is to foster the growth of life-long learners by communicating high expectations and standards through respect, flexibility, and collaboration.

Stonegate Elementary School is located in Silver Spring, Maryland. It is part of the Montgomery County School System. Stonegate is a member of the Northeast Consortium, which means that students from Stonegate go to either Farquhar Middle School in Olney or White Oak Middle School in Silver Spring when they reach 6th grade (depending on where they live), and then may choose from three high schools - Blake, Springbrook, or Paint Branch. For more information on Stonegate and the other elementary, middle, and high schools in the Northeast Consortium, visit the Mongomery County School District website at www.mcps.k12.md.us/schools.
