The students and staff at Strawberry Knoll Elementary School enjoyed a big treat this week when Visiting Author Heidi Mordhorst gave personalized presentations to students in grades Kindergarten - Fifth Grade.

Ms. Mordhorst, a teacher and a poet, has published one book of poetry -
and talked to the students about her experiences as a writer and a poet.  She read some of the poems published in her book and then helped the students write their own poem.  (Click on the book to buy a copy!)
