Math Contests
Students at TPMS can participate in the
Maryland Mathematics League, part of The
Mathematics League. Ms. Saftner coaches
the TPMS Math Team and meets with students
Tuesdays after school for this competition.
Ms. Manchester coaches students on Wednesdays
after school for this national middle school
competition. TPMS is the defending state
champion and placed two students on the Maryland
team that went to the national competition in
Chicago last Spring.
In conjunction with Blair High School's math
team, students from TPMS attend this regional
competition each spring.
