Animal Cafe Slide Show

Students in Ms. Perkins third grade class made this slide show as part of an animal research project in April 1999. They were assigned an animal to research. They were introduced to a subject pathfinder. They used a variety of resources to find information: books, magazines, an electronic encyclopedia, CD-ROMS, and Internet resources.

After completing a graphic organizer, they created this informational multimedia slide show to share their knowledge with others. They organized the information in a meaningful way by grouping the animals by the foods they eat. The animal slide show was transferred to videotape for use by parents and other students.
