In Art class at Travilah, fifth grade
students discussed the artwork "Three Flags" by Jasper
Johns. The artist used a familiar subject and presented it
in a different way. Students were asked to use the same
elements of the American Flag and rearrange them into a new
design. The finished products were displayed in the upper
grade hall. Here is a sample of their work. Click on the
