An International Performing Arts Show was held March 24, 2000 at Travilah Elementary School. Celebrating cultures from around the world, students entertained their classmates in a wonderful school-wide assembly. Parent Daksha Patel, program director, prepared a slide show with background information on each of the participating countries. The performance showcased our talented students and proved to be a learning experience for all. It was followed by International Night on March 31st. Exhibit tables featuring food, native costumes, money, maps, artwork, and pictures provided community members the opportunity to visit many countries around the world in just one evening. It allowed students and parents to talk to Travilah families who have lived or studied in these countries. Everyone had a great time!
