What is Theatre/Drama Club all about?

Theatre/Drama Club is an opportunity for every student to shine, either on stage or back stage, as well as enjoy the many aspects that theatre arts has to offer. Drama Club includes those involved with both the fall play and the spring musical (participants of both tech and actor groups must audition for each show). Drama Club also involves outings to promote the further enjoyment of and understanding of theatre. Such outings may include: attending the Maryland High School Theatre Festival (each February), attending/participating in the annual Shakespeare competition in DC, attending MCPS high school theatre performances, the Critics Program (for young writers), and attending other professional productions in the Washington, D.C. Metro area.

When Does Drama Club Meet?

Wednesdays after school (when not in rehearsal for a show) 2:30-4:30pm - Room B217

How do I get involved?
