Disability Awareness Day |
Thursday, Sept. 24th, 2009 |
Wayside students in grades 1 through 5 participated in Disability Awareness Day. The day was organized by our School Community Based Program teachers, Mrs. Solender and Mrs. Russo. Students were given the opportunity to experience some of the assistive technology devices used by students with special needs and to experience some of the problems faced by special needs students. Thank you Mrs. Solender and Mrs. Russo for organizing such an informative day! |
