Kindergarten Supply List

  • 4 glue sticks
  • 1 pair of blunt scissors
  • 1 box of crayons (16 or 24)
  • 1 box of washable markers (8 or 10)
  • 1 school box (large enough for their materials); please label with your child’s name on the outside
  • 2 2-pocket folders labeled with your child’s name on the outside
  • 1 backpack
  • 1 change of clothes in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name on the outside
  • 1 box of Ziploc bags (gallon)
  • 1 box of Ziploc bags (snack)

Second Grade Supply List

Parents, please err on the side of simplicity.  In second grade, too many or unnecessary supplies cause a distraction as well as a messy desk.

  • Pencils with erasers (no mechanical pencils)
  • Box of 24 crayons (no markers)
  • Bottle of glue (no glue sticks)
  • Scissors
  • 12” ruler with centimeters and inches
  • Two folders with pockets (Make sure the pocket opens on the bottom, and not on the side.
    Laminated or plastic folders last longer.)
  • Five hardcover composition books
  • Tissues (2 boxes)
  • Large bottle of hand sanitizer gel

Other Appreciated Items:

  • Spray Cleaner
  • Lysol Disinfectant Spray
  • Roll of paper towels
  • Ziploc bags, all sizes
  • Paper plates and plastic utensils

Fourth Grade Supply List

  • 1 sturdy three-ring binder
  • 6 notebook dividers (Please label them as follows: Information, Math, Spelling, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science)
  • 3-hole, wide lined notebook paper to use for daily assignments
  • Each day, students will need 6 sharpened pencils.
  • Personal pencil sharpener that has a case to container the sharpenings
  • 4 blue or black ballpoint pens
  • 2 highlighters
  • 2 marble journals, wide-lined composition books (at least 120 pages)
  • 2 two-pocket folders with horizontal pockets (without paper fasteners)
  • Scissors
  • Colored pencils (sharpened)
  • 2 glue sticks
  • Ruler (metric and standard)
  • Zippered plastic pencil case for notebook
  • Small school box for desk
  • Large box of tissues for classroom use

  • Check made out to “Westbrook ES” for $8.00 for Scholastic News and assignment book.
  • 2”-ring basic three ring binder.  No Trapper Keepers (they never last and don’t fit in the desks)
  • Two packs of dividers, NO Folder dividers (to be labeled in school)
  • Lots of pencils and a basic sharpener to keep in desk
  • Four colored pens (no blue or black)
  • Erasers
  • Lots of wide ruled loose leaf paper
  • Paper reinforcements for loose leaf paper
  • Two highlighters
  • Two marble type composition books (60 pp)

  • Four packages of Post-it notes (or comparable); 1.5 x 2” or 2 x 3” size
