REMINDER!!

Students who require Testing Accommodations for College Board Tests (PSAT, SAT, AP) must request these accommodations using an SSD Student Eligibility Form. This form is to be completed by parents and school representative and should be mailed to the College Board 7 weeks prior to the first test a student takes.

The criteria the College Board has established for granting testing accommodations for students varies significantly from the criteria used to grant accommodations at the school level. The presence of an IEP or 504 Plan does not ensure test accommodations approval by the College Board. See the "Services for Students with Disabilities" section of the College Board website for more information.

The packet "SAT Services for Students with Disabilities" needed to apply for eligibities for the tests is available from the College & Career Center. Students who have NOT registered for testing accommodations for the SAT/PSAT/AP must see their counselors.

Please remember that you MUST include a copy of the SSD ELIGIBILITY CODE received from The College Board when registering for any of the College Board tests.

If you have any questions regarding this issue please call WJ Counseling Services at (301) 803-7121 or the WJ Academic Support Center at (301) 803-7140.

Susan Hartung is WJ's contact for questions about accommodation testing.

STUDENTS REQUESTING ACCOMMODATIONS MAY REGISTER ONLINE BUT MUST PROVIDE THEIR SSD ELIGIBILITY CODE FROM THE COLLEGE BOARD!!
