During a schoolwide assembly, Dr. Rahul Gupta, director of the White House Office on National Drug Policy, offered a demonstration on how to use Narcan to save lives. 

The National Blue Ribbon Schools award recognizes schools that demonstrate outstanding academic performance or significant progress in closing achievement gaps. These two schools join a select group of 356 schools nationwide and 10 in Maryland to receive this recognition.

The Social Studies team is hosting a series of Curriculum Night webinars for families to learn more about how social studies is taught in MCPS and how its curricula in kindergarten through 11th grade incorporate the history of various ethnic and cultural groups.
