This dashboard includes data on the number of Advanced Placement (AP) exams taken by MCPS high school students in the last three years. The data are organized by student group and subject. The AP exam is a standardized test developed by The College Board that measures students’ mastery of AP related course content. An AP exam score ranges from 1 to 5 and a score of 3 or higher indicates a student is ready for college-level course work. The percent of AP exam scores of 3 or higher and the mean AP exam scores for all subject tests are provided on this dashboard. In addition, the summary scoring for the percent scoring 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are also presented.
