Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)

to Host 2nd Hiring Expo July 12, 2019

ROCKVILLE, MD, -- Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is hosting its 2nd Hiring Expo on July 12, 2019, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Richard Montgomery High School, located at 250 Richard Montgomery Drive in Rockville. MCPS continues to look for highly qualified professionals to join our workforce as classroom teachers.  No registration is necessary.

Candidates for the following critical needs content areas are invited to walk-in. Candidates of critical needs area will have the opportunity to conduct a prescreening interview with Human Resources on a first come, first served basis.  Approximately 30 MCPS schools will be onsite to meet and interview candidates. Interested applicants should bring copies of their resume and prepare to be interviewed. 

MCPS defines critical needs areas as the following:

  • Special Education
  • Science (natural sciences as well as computer science)
  • Technology
  • Engineering
  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
  • Mathematics
  • Bilingual teachers for MCPS Immersion Programs
