Pension Plans

All retirees from MCPS receive a supplemental pension benefit from MCPS in addition to your Core pension benefit. Based on your former position, some retirees will receive a Core benefit from MCPS and other will receive a Core benefit from the Maryland State Retirement Agency (SRA).

MCPS Core and/or Supplement Members

MCPS Core and Supplement members receive a pension benefit at the beginning of each month.

State of Maryland Core Members
