Formerly known as The MCPS Business Hub 

• Login to the MCPS Hub+ using the "Log in to MCPS Hub+" button above. 
• School users who need to access iPayment can click on the "Log in to iPayment" button above.
• The old financial system, FMS, is available on a limited basis for researching in the archives. Users with access should switch their browser to Internet Explorer and go to https://fms.mcpsmd.org.

Introducing MCPS Hub+

The MCPS Business Hub has been joined by a new Human Capital Management (HCM) system! To celebrate this union, we have renamed the Business Hub to MCPS Hub+. All Business Hub functions (finance, budget, and purchasing) are still there for users who access them. Both the Business Hub and HCM are part of one cloud solution for MCPS business, payroll, and human resources applications.

All MCPS employees have access to MCPS Hub+ to complete HR and payroll tasks including submitting absence requests and time cards, updating contact information, managing direct deposit, managing benefits, and much more. The Expenses tile and all employee self-service tiles are found under the “Me” menu heading.

If you experience any problems  accessing the areas you need, please call or email the MCPS Technical Help Desk (240-740-9000 or helpdesk@mcpsmd.org with the subject line “Hub Issue”).

What Do I Need to Know?

• Online training is open for registration in Professional Development Online (PDO). The new courses for HR and Employee Self-Service functions are: Hub+ for Employees (course #92897), Hub+ for Timekeepers (course #92899), and Hub+ for Line Managers (course #92900).
• Most Hub+ training materials, web pages, and guides are only viewable when you are logged into your MCPS account. If you don't know your MCPS username and password, contact the Technical Help Desk at 240-740-9000.
• When you log in to Hub+, check your Personal Information, Contact Information, and Direct Deposit to make sure everything is accurate.
• For news and information about Hub+, including any changes coming, login to the MCPS Hub+ Resources website. 

Access to Additional Functions
(purchasing, finance, budget, and the line manager and timekeeper roles) 

• All MCPS employees have basic access to the MCPS Hub+, which allows them to access all employee self-service and HCM employee functions, and create expense reports for reimbursement. 
• Access to additional business modules in Hub+ (e.g., Purchasing, General Accounting, Budget) requires completion of training. The MCPS Hub+ On Demand Training course list is a guide for users to select the training that matches the work they do. Find the course number, then login to PDO to register.
• After completion of training, an access request may be initiated. Access to the additional Hub+ functions is managed through the User Management Security Access Portal (UMSAP). See the UMSAP Guide for Hub Users for an overview of the process, and ask your supervisor or principal to initiate a request on your behalf. 
• Principals and supervisors (and other requesting officials) can see the UMSAP User Guide for complete instructions for submitting a request.
