This report focuses on the improvements in performance on a nationally normed achievement test by the Grade 2 class of 2003. The issue of interest is whether these changes among the full-day kindergarten schools that received the kindergarten enrichment program exceeded the changes for 2003 found among the half-day kindergarten groups. Comparisons included schools in wealthy versus poor neighborhoods.
