Exciting Science Opportunities

HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS INTERESTED IN TEACHING SCIENCE OR MATH- Towson UTeach, Towson University’s program to prepare future secondary school mathematics and science teachers, is pleased to announce the availability of Kahlert Foundation Scholarships ($3,000 per year for up to four years) to be awarded to incoming freshmen who enroll at the university in Fall 2025 and plan to pursue a career in secondary school mathematics or science teaching. The scholarship committee will begin considering completed applications on December 2, 2024. GRADES 6-9: NSTA eCYBERMISSION Competition. Another exciting STEM year begins: Registration is open for this year’s eCYBERMISSION competition! eCYBERMISSION is 100% free to participate in! Rockville Science Center has several classes for teens ages 7 & up beginning in September. Current classes include Science Explorers, Marvelous Makers, Intro to Python, STEM Scouts and Tech Wizards. Click here for more information.
