At its business meeting on Oct. 26, the Board of Education approved the following administrative appointments:

  • Michelle A. Ezeofor-Andrews, Director, Office of Systemwide Safety and Emergency Management, Office of the Chief Operating Officer
  • Kathryn E. Bojczyk, Supervisor, Applied Research and Evaluation, Department of Shared Accountability, Office of Strategic Initiatives, Office of the Deputy Superintendent

In Memoriam

Teresa J. Boyd, teacher at Richard Montgomery High School, died on Oct. 22. She was 61 years old and had more than 37 years of service with MCPS.

Mary K. Photinakis, paraeducator in the Visually Impaired Unit, died on Sept. 29. She was 52 years old and had more than 11 years of service with MCPS.
