Seeking Feedback for the 2024–2025 School Year Calendar

As MCPS continues to develop the 2024–2025 school year calendar, the district is seeking additional feedback on two draft calendars from staff, families, students and the community. The survey represents the second phase in the development process.

Both draft calendars include:

• Early release days (Monday and Tuesday) during the week of Thanksgiving 2024.
• No school on Monday, Dec. 23, 2024.
• Early spring break (Saturday, April 12 – Monday, April 21, 2025).
