In Memoriam

Zara M. Land, building service worker at Wilson Wims Elementary School, died on Dec. 22. She was 61 years old and had more than six years of service with MCPS.

Dean L. Weingard, retired teacher and coach at Flower Valley Elementary School, Odessa Shannon Middle School (formerly Col. E. Brooke Lee Middle School) and Rockville High School, died on Nov. 8. He was 80 years old and worked for MCPS for more than 30 years; he was also a driver education instructor for many years.
