The Board of Education approved the following administrative appointments at its Feb. 6 business meeting:

  • Rachel E. Grossberg, Assistant General Counsel, Office of the General Counsel
  • Claudine Holton, Supervisor, Business Program Management and Support, Department of Business Information Services, Office of Strategic Initiatives, Office of the Deputy Superintendent
  • Thomas C. Lockman, Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the Board of Education

In Memoriam

Woodroe R. Andrews, special education bus attendant at the Shady Grove North Transportation Depot, died on Dec. 28. He was 79 years old and had more than 14 years of service with MCPS.
