Game Changers Conference Set for April 20; Essay Submissions Due April 10

Male students in Grades 4-12 are invited to attend the 2024 Spring Game Changer Conference for Young Males hosted by Unity Christian Fellowship. This event will take place on Saturday, April 20, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Universities at Shady Grove.

Registration closes Tuesday, April 3. Spaces are limited. Register.

The goal of the conference is to craft a “Game Changer” experience that reignites and builds the social-emotional wellness, confidence and values of young males. Some of the sessions include life skills stations, panel conversations, STEM exposure and a parent advocacy academy roundtable. 

The conference will also host a student essay competition. Participants are encouraged to submit a 300-word essay answering the question: “Being a Competitor is a Game Changer: How will you Compete to Win and Own your Future?” Essay submissions are due by Wednesday, April 10, at GC Essay Contest Submission. Prizes will be awarded to winners in each age division. 

The Universities at Shady Grove is located at 9630 Gudelsky Drive in Rockville.
