High school summer school registration will begin on Friday, March 22. Regional Summer High School Programs will be offered in-person at Montgomery Blair, Seneca Valley and Richard Montgomery high schools. Classes begin at 8 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. MCPS transportation will be offered at limited central stops and meals will be provided.

The Central High School Summer Program will be delivered virtually on Zoom. Students will be required to attend eight, 75-minute virtual, synchronous instructional sessions per session, for a total of 10 synchronous hours. Students should plan to spend between 30 and 40 additional hours per session completing asynchronous work in each course.

In both programs, the first session will run from June 26–July 16 (no class on July 4; the second session will run from July 18–Aug. 6.

Parents can register their students on their ParentVue accounts.

There will be a limited number of summer programs at both Title I and Additional Target Support and Improvement (ATSI) elementary and middle schools; those schools will reach out to their communities directly.
