Walk for Mental Health Set for May 18

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. We can all work together to increase awareness and acceptance, and reduce prejudice and discrimination about mental illness. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration estimates that more than one in five U.S. adults experienced a mental illness in the past year.
Join NAMI for NAMIWalks Montgomery County, dedicated to Mental Health for All. The walk is from 9 a.m.–noon on Saturday, May 18, at Rio Lakefront, 9811 Washingtonian Blvd. in Gaithersburg. Learn more and register here.
