More than 350 students from 35 MCPS middle schools and five high schools took part in the Montgomery County History Day competition last week at A. Mario Loiederman Middle School. More than 120 people volunteered as judges to interview and score the students’ projects.
The top two projects from each category (documentary, website, paper, performance, exhibit) in both individual and group were recognized and will move on to compete at the state level. The state competition is on May 4 at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
