Registration Open for Arts, Music Summer Camp

Rising MCPS Grade 1 through 5 students are invited to apply for the MCPS smART Summer program beginning at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 11. Registration sections will be closed as they reach capacity. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The smART Summer Program is an art and music camp where students work with MCPS art and music educators and Summer RISE high school students to expand their arts knowledge and skills. New this year, students will receive instruction in both art and music each day.

Rising Grade 4 and 5 students, who are currently enrolled in their respective school’s instrumental music program, are invited to apply for the instrumental music camp. Students will spend each day expanding their knowledge of and skills on their instrument.

The smART Summer program will be held at Montgomery Blair High School from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. July 15–24. Before- and after-care is available for an additional cost.

Montgomery Blair is located at 51 University Blvd. East in Silver Spring.
