Student PSA on Bullying, Harassment and Hate-Bias
A group of MCPS students have come together to spread awareness about the impact of bullying, harassment and hate-bias. This student-led video campaign is part of the ongoing work to address and help educate their peers and the school community.
Also, last month, a video message released in a Things to Know newsletter previewed and updated the school community about the district’s hate-bias work, which was presented to the Board of Education at its April 11 public meeting. The comprehensive approach is organized into three pillars to address prevention, education and response. MCPS is strongly committed to providing an equitable, positive, and respectful school culture where all students can safely learn in an environment that encourages academic and social success.
