Karla Silvestre, president of the Board, encouraged students to embrace their potential and strive for excellence.

Looking ahead, the third annual Latina Legacy Conference for high school students is set for Thursday, Nov. 7. Students can register to attend through their school counselors. The deadline for registration is Oct. 31.
